Archway Bus to roll for March of Dimes
– Stephen Archambault, president of Archway Bus Transportation, Inc of West Warwick, RI, has announced that his fleet of charter motorcoaches will participate in the Rhode Island March of Dimes “Miles for Babies” fundraising event, on September 24, 2009. For every mile that Archway’s motorcoaches travel that date, the company will donate a dime to the March of Dimes. Archambault also invited other New England motorcoach companies to participate.
In making the announcement he said, “The New England motorcoach industry is certainly a competitive business, but it is filled with very good and big-hearted people. I hope that all our regional colleagues will join us in this worthy cause.”
The event is part of a national campaign jointly sponsored by the United Motorcoach Association and the national March of Dimes organization. “Miles for Babies” gives motorcoach companies the opportunity to become champions for babies by raising urgently needed funds to help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
